F&M Construction was contracted to build an access road for the Climax Mine Construction of over 2 miles of mine access roads located at the Climax Mine above Leadville, Colorado. The project involved rugged terrain, high-altitude conditions, and careful coordination with environmental and mining stakeholders. F&M crews constructed a durable, all-weather road to support heavy equipment access and ongoing operations, ensuring reliable transportation to and from the remote mine site while prioritizing safety, erosion control, and environmental compliance.
